The figure painting was the earliest art forms in the history of chinese paintings, including various portraits, Taoism, gods, ghosts, customs and historical stories and other topics. The author Yan Liben (about600-673), after virtue to Zhenguan (626-648), belongs to the early Tang Dynasty, is the time range of this study, the period of the Tang Dynasty mainly refers to the period (712-756). In this paper, through a case, the child is father of the man, fan out from point to area, with the research of representative works "Bunian Tu" to the Tang Dynasty, and the style of painting in Tang Dynasty and its social function of rheological characters to explore the meaning.This article is discussed in the following four parts:The first part, combing the social, economic, and cultural situation, constructing the background painting language transformation. The figure painting is inseparable with the rulers in the cultural policy advocacy, therefore, the fine arts in the subject clearly revealing the characteristics of the times.The second part, Analysis of "Bunian Tu" composition from the perspective of visual psychology.
