As the labor people’s unique artistic creation, folk art has both practical and aesthetic function, and it is the origin and basis of the original art to arts creation of a later period. Since the date of its produce, Chinese art is known as freehand brushwork art. As a piece of treasure of Chinese folk arts and crafts, through its unique artistic form, freehand brushwork spirit is expressed more vividly and directly by Fengxiang clay sculpture. Through altitudinal intentionality, the nature of Xifu public is conveyed. On the expression of image charm, not like shaw, but beg spirit likeness, people’s nature is frankly stated. Back to its origin, there are many in common between the creation traditions and customs of Fengxiang clay sculpture and the freehand brushwork spirit of Chinese traditional culture. Austere, clumsy and free are spirit and aesthetic style, imagery and changeable modelling, arrogant expression technique, and simple, sincere and symbolic color decorative pattern make its art style with freehand brushwork more charming.The research of freehand brushwork of Fengxiang clay sculpture grain can not be regarded as an isolated event. On shape and color, the expressions of Fengxiang clay sculpture grain are different according to different objects, and the influence of the reality to image is reduced by exaggerated imagination. In technique, the picturesque pen and ink interesting aspect and colorful aesthetic feeling is expressed incisively and vividly. And it gets much human attention and love. At the same time of inheriting Chinese traditional philosophy, influenced by Guanzhong culrure, striking red and green color contrast, uninhibited line depiction, and mystery and pristine grain of Fengxiang clay sculpture create its unique artistic features. Summarized and exaggerated, thick plastic and thin tracing, and red-letter expression methods intensively reflects people’s love to life and nature.This paper is divided into five chapters, and analyzes the location of folk art in Chinese traditional culture on the basis of the freehand brushwork of Chinese culture. The inner freehand brushwork spirit of Fengxiang grain is explored by the interpretation to it. In the interpretation process of freehand brushwork method of Chinese traditional painting, combining with Fengxiang grain, the internal relation between them is explored, and then, the evolution of freehand brushwork in Chinese traditional culture is interpreted. |
