Summarized and exaggerated, thick plastic and thin tracing, and red-letter expression methods intensively reflects people’s love to life and nature.This paper is divided into five chapters, and analyzes the location of folk art in Chinese traditional culture on the basis of the freehand brushwork of Chinese culture. The inner freehand brushwork spirit of Fengxiang grain is explored by the interpretation to it. In the interpretation process of freehand brushwork method of Chinese traditional painting, combining with Fengxiang grain, the internal relation between them is explored, and then, the evolution of freehand brushwork in Chinese traditional culture is interpreted.
