A good novel is a vivid representation of the society. As a panorama describes the people living in the middle and lower classes in the Central China in18th century, Qi Lu Deng described a story about detailed characterizations of Neo Confucian scholar Tan Shaowen face the challenge of Belial, constantly fall through worldly temptations and constantly struggling to return to the right path. Opera as one of the different segments of the population’s daily entertainment during the Qing dynasty, it got a lot of directly or indirectly description in Qi Lu Deng. Li lvyuan expressed his drama concept through dissolving the drama activities in the text, associating drama activities with the daily lives of the characters, combining opera plot and character’s psychological change. At the same time--actor as one of the essential component and the carrier of opera culture, their situation also has a certain reflected.Therefore, this paper takes the drama activities in Qi Lu Deng as the main content, takes the folk custom phenomenon as the breakthrough point, and makes a carding of Kangxi and Qianlong period of Kaifeng area opera culture. the thesis topic was reflected after combined with the historical literature and the research results, by incorporating folk literature, cultural anthropology, literary studies, history, art, cross-communication from multiple perspectives. Through a historical perspective to show drama activities for what they really are, make up deficiencies in Opera history. This paper is divided into four parts.Part one:Introduction. This section will explain the literary position of Qi Lu Deng, show the scholars research results of Qi Lu Deng over the years, as well as the topic of this article motives, research methods, research achievement.Part two:Chapter one. This section describes the author’s biography and social background, through life experience of social environment; authors understand to go deeper into the writer’s writing psychology. In order to better understand the essential starting point of Qi Lu Deng which refers to "say temperaments, honor and spell out","Save bad idears of everybody", and Li lvyuan want to achieve the "everyone is optimistic and want appreciate", Choose Opera as a deeply spiritual culture of the people’s favorite pastime, People of all levels to fully realize the desire of the thought moral education. Part three:Chapter two. Qi Lu Deng put folk customs in the first place, analysis the relationship between drama activities and folk culture clearly, roughly classified the drama activities of Qi Lu Deng into five types according to its performances places, and performances time, and performances causes, and has detailed introduced about them through reveals its important culture meaning in daily life, discussion of real original drama activities in Kang Qian period, as well as the importance of drama in the life of common people.Part four:Chapter three.
