The research of this thesis is guided by the knowledge of contact linguistics,experimental phonetics, dialectology and theory of inter-language. On the one hand,through the use of " Dialect Word List " in order to sorting out the full details ofthe voice system, then to get the phonetic system of Hefei-accented mandarin, on theotherhand, we put these detailed data into scientific analyzing, to comparing internalrelationship among Hefei accent, Hefei-accented mandarin and standard mandarin.From the elementary research above, this thesis has a conclusion of the commoncharacteristics and rules while the Hefei people speaking mandarin, which providereferences for eliminating dialect accent when teaching mandarin course.Hefei-accented mandarin is a kind of inter-language, which is developed duringthe progress of learning standard mandarin by people of Hefei. This thesis firstly hasa simple comparison on vowel, consonant and intonation between Hefei dialect andmandarin in phonology. Then, analyses the differences in phonetics with acousticand listening experiments between Hefei-accented mandarin and standardmandarin.Under the influence of Hefei dialect, the initials group of z and j appearingthe mixed reading phenomenon. ch,sh in standard mandarin both pronounced as c, s.The particular matching rule between n and l. f and h pronouncing in a littlestronger than standard mandarin. In the vowel system of Hefei-accented mandarin,the pronouncing of u has the wider shape of mouth. The position of tongue moved alittle forward than standard mandarin when pronouncing e. ü has backward positionin tongue and closer shape of mouth. er[a]’s pronouncing is quite different fromstandard mandarin, lacking obvious movement process, this Phenomenon alsoappears in compound finals system. In nasal vowels system ing and in are bothreading as in. In the tone system, the first and second tone are lower, the third andforth tone lack of movement. Retroflex, soft-tone, the tones change of Yi and Bu,synaeresis showed the existing problems while the Hefei people speaking mandarin.
