The supervisor plays a key role in training postgraduates. She has not only animportant effects on the growth of graduate students, but also assumes greatresponsibilities to promote them to reach their prime.Professor Zheng Li in CapitalNormal University has been more than40years of educational experience and ten yearsof graduate training experience. She has trained about150thousands people who areon-the-job postgraduates, academic graduate students, professional masters,key teachersall over China and so on.As a result,she has rich experience in teacher education andpostgraduate training experience.Meanwhile, based on the goal of music educationphilosophy “creating comprehensive practical talents”,Professor Zheng Li constantlyinnovates the postgraduate training modes and makes a series of achievements,whichwins recognition from experts in music education. Therefore,the author believes that ithas a certain significance to study on the postgraduate training modes of Professor ZhengLi in music education.This article is about the postgraduate training modes of Professor Zheng Li, whichconsists of the following main parts: The beginning part is introduction. The first chapteris to present the music educational achievements of Professor Zheng Li and shows thepostgraduates’ viewpoints towards Professor Zheng Li through author’s observation andinterviews. The second chapter shows the process of her creative postgraduate modes byorganizing her major methods of training postgraduates. In the third section, The thirdsection is summed up by displaying author’s perception to Professor’s postgraduatetraining modes. The last part is a conclusion.
