In the oracle components system, pictographs accounts for the vast majority. So from the perspective of grapheme, this article regards these dependent pictographs as a word to study. There are four chapters in this article:In the first chapter we introduced the general research situation of oracle pictographs and the research significance of this article.In the second chapter, we first from two aspects to define these pictographs again. In addition, we also renew defined artifacts and words respectively. The research object of this paper is the dependent pictographs. its components and grapheme is itself, but in order to more accurately, we chose the name of "dependent pictographic element". Based on the definition of this article, we finally statistics the shells oracle pictographic element is 188. Finally we separate these "dependent pictographic elements" into five categories from different angles like image.In the third chapter, we study the differences in writing styles of bone characters in different groups. We divide the "dependent pictographic element" into four sections to introduced:the front three sections are my own study,the last section is based on other scholars’study.In the last chapter, we explored the glyph change rule of "dependent pictographic element", when it is a separate word and participate in a fit. Through the observation, we found some phenomenon:in some fit words, the"dependent pictographic elemenf’and other artifacts" relative position and orientation is fixed; some element’s form in simplified; In addition, there are some other minor changes, due to the cases is not much, they’re classified in the last section.
