Wei-Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties are called " self-conscious period of the literature ". The social politics has been in divided situation, the containing of politics on the culture of political weakened and the social thoughts diversified in this period, which is the second age of Ceremony Disintegration in the history. In this open age the literati with distinct personality and dominations emerged in a large numbers. Since then, literary status has been gradually increased, and literary works have been emerging in endlessly. This paper locates the scope of the study of Cao Pi here: the paper is divided into three parts to study putting the evaluations of Cao Pi from the literati in Wei-Jin and six dynasties period as a starting point. First, the literary career and the political life of Cao Pi are systematicly analyzed. The bright spots and weaknesses of literature are summarized and the ideals and loss in his political life are analyzed. Second, the evaluation differences and the achievements of Cao Pi in comparison of history and literary works are discussed. Finally, the contact and the development among evaluations in Wei-Jin and six dynasties period are discussed, and the impacts on evaluations of Cao Pi from later generations are explored and analyzed.
