A Study On The Motivation And Dispelling Of Language Wrapping

Language interweaving, as a distinctive characteristic of human language, exists in the verbal communication of daily life widely. However, it can not cause enough attention. Because of the intervention about pragmatic parameters, language interweaving will naturally resolve in most cases. Only when language interweaving make the communication impossible, we can realize the presence of it and start to conduct research. The study of language interweaving began in the early 20th century, but previous studies are mainly static and less systematic. This situation make people pay no attention to the universality of language interweaving, and lead to lack of knowledge of design feature of human language. Therefore, based on the gaps of previous research, this thesis attempts to study the motivation and resolution of the language interweaving from the dynamic perspective and aims to analyze comprehensively and systematically. The aim of this thesis is to find the theoretical motivation and ways of resolution about language interweaving.It is of great value and significance both in linguistic theory and practical application. This thesis try to sort out the deep underlying connection between the language and thinking and the signified through investigating the language interweaving, and finally reveal the essence of language. Meanwhile, the study can provide certain theory directions for the artistic creation. The main body of the thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is the general overview of language interweaving. It mainly introduces the origin and definition of the concept and points out the common characteristic of language interweaving.The second chapter describes classification of language interweaving. According to the truth value of sentence and relevance of interweaving, language interweaving can be classified into two catalogues:dominant interweaving and recessive interweaving. Then the thesis analyzes specific form of two catalogues respectively.The third chapter focuses on the motivation of language interweaving. Firstly, points out the definition of motivation and explains the motivation of language. Secondly, analyzes the interweaving mechanism of language through self-sufficiency and projection of language. Thirdly, expound on the motivation of language interweaving from self-concept, isomorphism between language and world, relationship between brain and mind, and principle of least effort.The fourth chapter analyzes the cases of resolution and practical application of language interweaving. Firstly, explains the reasons of natural resolution are due to the leap of the thinking, mirror-image relationship between language and thinking, and the intervention of pragmatic parameters. Secondly, points out the ways of resolution. Thirdly, language interweaving can provide certain theory directions for the artistic creation.
