Research On The Preservation And Operation Of National Archaeological Site Park In Daming Palace Under The World Cultural Heritage

Darning Palace heritage is the remains of a large group of palace structures which was built in Tang Dynasty. The protection of such an ensemble of ancient royal architecture is a successful practice of the domestic "great site" protection experience. Under the background of applying for World Cultural Heritage, the Darning Palace Archaeological Heritage Park should be evaluated using the assessment and monitoring standards of World Cultural Heritage convention and relevant international instruments. This article adapted the evaluation structures of world Culture Heritage into the evaluation of the protection and management of Darning Palace Archaeological Heritage Park, in order to make a solid assessment to the Darning Palace which is widely considered as the domestic benchmarking heritage park. In this paper, we lucubrated the advanced experience and inadequate of the protection and operation of Darning Palace, and further explored various of valid methods to enhence the exhibition and to improve the protection and management system of "great site".
