| Chinese Communication has been over 30 years history since the term Communication entered the Chinese mainland. The term has been intepreted in Chinese as "spread, propagate", "link up and connect", "exchange", "have an association with somebody" and so on. In the context of today’s rapid development in new media and new technology, the vocabulary Communication is faster, and more intuitive in front of us due to the technology. However, the negative impactarising from the spread of new technologies have also been increasingly apparent, and the phenomenon of "man and machine" is much more popular than "man and man", "There is spread and propagate, but less connection (or no connection)" are attracting more attention. Starting from the analysis of the current hit American TV drama "The Big Bang Theory", this paper explored the changes in the form of interpersonal direct communicaton and emotional appeal in the contemporary mass media communication society through the charaters’ interpersonal communication mode. |
