The Folk Dance Is Limited To The Stage Creation

Definition is one important aspect of stage folk dance creation. Meanwhile,dancing works blending in with modern consciousness from choreographer is aprocess of continuous experience and exploration，in the stage creation of folkor ethnic dance. In this paper，there are three types of definition as the premiseof folk or ethnic dance creation：Element Definition, Style Definition, andConception Definition. This paper takes three original dance works for example：That World，Pure Land，Mist In Spring Hill, and interprets the view by personalexperience. This paper consists of three parts: folk or ethnic dance definitionand modern consciousness, my stage dance creation within folk or ethnic dancedefinition, new recognition in stage folk dance creation within folk or ethnicdance definition. This paper logically focuses on the recognition of “stage dancecreation within the range of style definition” by the exemplification.
