| The term "Redundancy" derive from the Theory of Imformation, belongs to the Information Theory terms, by being introduced into linguistics research scope, many scholars domestic and abroad have made considerable research results in related fields However, most existing language redundancy research selected literature and daily communication language; the research focused on different fields and scope of language redundancy is relatively limited; the research of teachers’ language redundancy are comparatively rare. In recent years, more and more attention has been paid to high-quality college curriculum’s construction, and with it, the requirement of the language of instruction is becoming higher and more standardized.In this article, under Undergraduate Course Teaching Network of Liaoning Province, we selected high-quality open courses and resources sharing lessons that related to language literature as the observing object, collected five different universities’ teaching activities’ records among Liaoning province as the research object. We considered linguistics theory, information theory, cognitive psychology and linguistics pragmatics theory as the theoretical basis; through the combination of description and interpretation, qualitative and quantitative, and the methods of document analysis and video investigation, we described and analyzed specific situations in language redundancy phenomenon of high-quality college curriculum, and summarized the regularity characteristics of redundant information and analyzed the reasons: we also summarized the language problems might happen when using redundant information, and gave some constructive suggestions. Through the systematically observation analysis of the practical and instructional language in high-quality college curriculum, we can get the conclusion that try to explore the new extension of the study of language redundancy will deepen the study of the theory of the language redundancy phenomenon; on the other hand, it can strengthen the consciousness of university teachers’ instructional language satandardization, enrich High-quality college curriculum’s construction, and improve the quality of the High-quality college curriculum’s construction.Besides the introduction and conclusion, this article composes four chapters:Chapter I, definition of language redundancy phenomenon. First of all, based on the previous definition of redundancy of language, we redefined the language of instruction redundancy; Secondly, according to different effect of expression, redundant information can be divided into positive and negative redundancy; finally, we analyzed the relationship between instructional language and redundancy.Chapter II, observation on redundancy of instructional language. First of all, we put an overview of the implementation process and the general situation; secondly, we translated the video lessons into words record, and summed up the retrieval of language information, information of the language, the redundancy of questions and use the word down four redundant expression form, and statistic specific usage under redundant information; thirdly, observing three different period of instructional language use of redundant information; Forth, synthesizing, the usage of the language of instructional redundancy phenomenon via different period courses and expression of instructional language; finally, synthesizing the use of the language of instructional redundancy phenomenon via different instructors and expression of instructional language.Chapter III, analysis of the characteristics and reasons of language redundancy in high-quality college curriculum. First of all, after translating and summarizing the video course into words records, we summarized, the characteristics of language redundancy in high-quality college curriculum; Second, under the specific record teaching, we analyzed the reasons why language redundant information happened, and we also described the results under the perspective of instructional language’s characteristics and the particularity of recording high-quality college curriculum, etc.Chapter IV, conclusion and suggestions of instructional language redundancy in high-quality college curriculum. First of all, based on the observation to the known corpora, we put forward three issues; too much of negative redundancy, the lack of positive redundancy and the inappropriate duration of redundancy. Second, we put forward the use of redundancy should follow three principles that are emphasized appropriately and logically. Finally, we mentioned suggestions on strengthening the consciousness of instructional language standardization and language communication, improving psychological quality, and copying strategies. |
