"Image" is a word in1980-1990years between academia appears in thediscussion of modeling performance problems of consciousness creation theoryChinese painting and the gradually widely recognized.This paper is divided into four chapters: the first chapter outlines the evolutionprocess of "image" in Chinese ancient literary theory. through the study of ancientartist theory and the Western Aesthetics "aesthetic image" concept in the image, tofurther understand the similarities and differences between Chinese and Western"image"; the second chapter through further study of modern western theory ofliterature appeared in the contemporary western imagism, combined with "Imagism"art style, a comprehensive understanding of how contemporary western art influenceChinese art. The important of this study explains the difference in culture, history, lifestyle, the ways of thinking, and even the cognition and performance style from artistscause the Chinese art culture described differently, but also has similarly shows inpainting style and image ideas. In third chapter, by selects3popular historical artiststhe Sicong Zhou, the Qinghe Liu, and the Wang Zhang using their art works tounderstand the approach of the process of the evolution of image modeling.In the last chapter explains the "Image" is not merely duplicate the style of howto draw or paint, it is much more emphasis the essence of Chinese freehandbrushwork figure painting manifestation of consciousness, and strengthen aestheticimages by how to cultivate the image mode of thinking performance ability.
