A Survey Of Chinese Students' Motivation In Bishkek Humanities University In Kyrgyzstan

With China’s economic development, relations between Kyrgyzstan and China, in the area of cooperation is increasing gradually, Kyrgyzstan Chinese learners grow with each passing day. At present the Kyrgyzstan students learning Chinese motivation research investigations are few, so this survey has reference value to the Chinese international education.Learning motivation has been considered as an important factor in second language learning, caught the attention by many linguists. Especially when it’s in the non target language environment learning language, the influence of learning motivation on learning effect is obvious. Therefore, the teacher in the class should give students some opportunities to stimulate and maintain the motivation for learning Chinese.The research methods used in this study were document analysis, questionnaire and interviews to investigate the learners motivation in learning Chinese at Bishkek Humanities University, the studied found that the students of this university mainly are have instrumental motivation, integrative motivation, internal and external types, the one of main types is instrumental motivation. For the investigation of the students, Chinese as a language mainly is used to get a good job, get pass through the examination for study abroad etc. The investigation of combine the conditions of Universities’Chinese teaching and faculty found that teaching installations are imperfect, teaching materials are deficiency, the teachers are weak and the traditional teaching mode have influenced the students learning of Chinese. Finally, for this I suggest that teachers in the classroom should be by attracting the students attention to cultivate the students’ self-confidence, to provide for students to feel satisfaction to stimulate students’ learning motivation.
