The prototype has the stability of the content and polytropy of form. Variability in the form of the means for different countries culture tradition, in many cultural expression is present in the form of different, the content of stability is to point to although each country literary tradition in prototype form vary, but these prototypes to express the meaning of in much the same. So the archetypal criticism is a method to apply to the whole world literature criticism. It can across the nationality, break the cultural boundaries, find all common original experience in literary works, and discover the "genetic" at the bottom of human’s memory from the literature.In Chinese and foreign history of literature, there are many works can be called the treasures, A Dream of Red Mansions and One Hundred Years of Solitude are two of the treasures. The study and research methods of the two great literary works are varied, however, on a comparison study of the two great literary works by the method of archetypal criticism is still rare.
