On The Influence Of The Intervention Of Comprehensive Materials On The Paintings Of Chinese Contemporary

Easel painting, when combined with mixed media, has generated various forms of easel painting, expanded new possibilities of easel painting’s manifestation, extended its creative space and liberty, and weakened limitations among different painting genres. Art practitioners have been trying the combination of easel painting and other art forms. Through explorations and innovations, they have conducted multiple experiments on nature and manifestation of media, enriched expressive forms of art, at the same time, expanded artists’thoughts of art creation. The subject attempts to discuss the new-born linguistic form-ixed media-that is extremely inclusive, probe into its shock on traditional manifestation-easel painting, and explore its artistic, cultural, and social value. On the one hand, the subject dissects artistic characters, limitations and current situations of easel painting from the perspective of its technique and media; on the other hand, the subject elaborates theinevitability of the combination between mixed-media and easel painting, according to the transformation of social changes’impacts on artists. In the end, based on situation incontemporary China, the subject analyzes the inner; link between expressional language fields and aesthetic category of contemporary easel painting, as well as the values and influences resulted from the combination between mixed-media and easel painting.
