With the rapid development of the Chinese international education in the world, the textbooks of teaching Chinese as a foreign language publishing industry also flourished. Besides, a large variety of Chinese paper materials continue to be developed. However, Chinese audio-visual-oral materials development is relatively lagging behind. In some way or extent this situation has hindered the development of Chinese international education. Firstly, we analyzed the characteristic of three selected Chinese audio-visual-oral teaching material. The three Chinese audio-visual-oral textbooks are the primary starting points. And there is live action in the phonotape and videotape. And then, we analyzed the characteristic of a selected English audio-visual-oral teaching material. The English audio-visual-oral materials are also beginning, real shooting. This paper analyzed comparatively their text and audio-visual-oral materials to find out some important advantages, and added some of my own ideas. Finally, put forward some scientific and reasonable suggestions.
