The existing research often attributed the writer’s writing motivation to his strong sense of "turning over" and the appreciation of the’socialist system’. But Wanchun Hu was able to become a ’worker writer’ during a large number of historical possibilities could not be a matter of course. Single dynamic mechanism is not strong enough to explain the establishment of Wanchun Hu’s personal identity, the construction of Wanchun Hu’s personal identity should be explained during a long period of time and might be a complex result which promotes from both inside and outside. The second chapter mainly analyzes Wanchun Hu’s literary imagination during the period of ’seventeen years writing’. In order to make the logic of my paper rigorous and clear, in the first part, my first priority should be focused on the preliminary stage of Hu’s learning, with his two significant problems occurred in this period as the gripper, and observe through what way that Hu continuous overcoming those problems and to achieve a mature style of writing, that could be manifested as two things:an achievement of mature writing skills and a sharp vision towards the present circumstance. As the highlight of this chapter, the second part will focus on Hu’s ’mature period of creations’, and on behalf of <Family Problems>,<Man of a Special Character>,<Internal Problems>, and analysis with the other literary works, in order to seize Hu’s ’literary imagination’ crisis hide behind the growing of the Republic. And such analysis can provide a critical baseline for the truth that it is through the calling of the ’People of a new type in the socialist society’ that Hu attempted to make those crisis into imagination and make it be solved. In the third chapter, the paper will discusses the experiences of the cultural revolution that Hu involved in. This special period associate Hu with his confusion during the ’new period’ and his transferring form of identity in the late 80’s.In the last chapter, the author tries to draw the outline on the status of Wanchun Hu during his ’Cultural Revolution’ time, and also tries to outline the reasons why Hu could not continuous writing and exhibits symptoms of a mental disorder.
