| The article aims to help the development of the habitat of contemporary arts in Guiyang by analyzing its value and deficiency. The article sets off from Guiyang, which is famous for its special geographic environment and regional characteristics, tends to research regional features of contemporary arts in Guiyang.The author will elaborate the article from three perspectives. The first chapter is going to describe the historical context and cultural context of Guiyang contemporary arts from Chinese contemporary arts environment, the region and the culture. The second chapter sets off from the artists of ‘Parts of city’, analyzing the borderline of its aboriginality. Taking artists and art works as the research objects, the chapter aims to illustrate from the aspects of ‘regional’ and ‘instinct’. The mechanism of the third chapter will explore Guiyang’s biennale, art district, art exhibition and art criticism, whereas the method of comparative research would be put in use. And the geographical limitations of the development of Guiyang contemporary arts ecological mechanism will be reveal. As the same time, the reasons of bottleneck of Guiyang contemporary arts will also be analyzed. The epilogue summarizes the artistic value of Guiyang contemporary arts and measures conducive to the development of the future. |
