The world three largest film education systems: Western Europe system, system of Soviet union and eastern Europe and the United States, American film education system both in each other with the market and industry, or in the field of theory and the study of the history, both in the developing, slowly. As the foundation of the American film industry development power, the development of American film professional art education gradually became the movie practitioners are very concerned about one of the problems. As Hollywood industrial system strong talent backing, American film professional art education in professional practice and theory studies on the history education has a very high level. And the University of California, Los Angeles, New York film academy is the best, so to speak. At the same time, the Beijing film academy in our country, as a professional colleges and universities of China and even Asia famous films and Chinese films represents the highest level of professional teaching.This article is about the department of Film,Theatre and Digital Media of the School of the Theatre,Film and Television of University of California, Los Angeles; The New York Film Academy, Los Angeles; Beijing Film Academy school as research materials’ source. From the profiles, teachers from the school, the condition of courses, and other aspects, comprehensive analysis of the three universities and academies in the actual situation of the higher film professional art education. The article focusing on analysis of the present situations of graduate level education, the analysis of the three universities and academies in Professional Settings, teaching idea, teacher talent education, teaching goal, practice, theory, history research, the similarities and differences between MA and MFA training, comprehensively summed up the three schools in the direction of the similarities and differences of China and the United States, combined with the education theory and the status of the industry and other factors, analyzing advantages and disadvantages. Providing more possibilities to improve the development of higher professional film art education in China.
