The political transition in Myanmar has also received extensive attention from all over the world, Buddhist and Muslim conflict continues, with a certain influence to the national image of Myanmar’s government. Also affect the stability of Myanmar’s society and people’s life. Myanmar’s democratic transformation and modernization process has many advantages, but also it has affected by the impact of many factors. The increase of population, the change of economic structure, the increase of foreign investment and other factors have some impacts on Myanmar to the survival of based traditional religion, also intensified the sectarian conflict.Due to the influence of historical legacy, as well as the reality of a variety of factors influence each other, the conflict between Buddhists and Muslims in Myanmar is becoming more and more serious, its influence also has gradually deepened. Along with the strengthening of the international community against terrorism, the religious conflict has paid more and more attention, Myanmar’s Muslims has also been widespread concern of international community. Therefore, focusing on Myanmar’s religious conflict, not only has certain academic significance, but also provides some reference and practical significance.In the introduction part of this paper introduces the purpose and significance of the topic, the domestic and foreign research trends and research methods. The first chapter mainly introduced the history of Buddhism and Islam in Myanmar, Buddhism and Islam in the history of the conflict of the simple review and comb, in order to pave the way for the following chapters. The second chapter introduces the background of conflict between Buddhists and Muslims in Myanmar since 2011, as well as some specific conflict incidents and characteristics. The third chapter mainly discusses the causes of Buddhist and Muslim conflict. This chapter is one of the main part of the article, mainly from the political, economic, ethnic and religious aspects to analyze the causes of sectarian conflict. The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the conflict influence on Myanmar domestic and foreign affairs, international and other aspect.
