Because of the China’s political and economic influence improvement within the world and it’s active foreign policy, more and more foreigners are getting start to pay more attention to Chinese learning. They learn Chinese in their native country or come to China to learn, which bring with the rapid growth of the international Chinese education. Meanwhile, the issue of the Chinese teachers’ teaching development and training is getting more attention. In the 11 th International Chinese Education Seminar, Lin Xu, the director of Hanban, pointed out that the Chinese teacher is the key factor which will influence and limit the sustainable development of Confucius College,and the Chinese teacher issue is the core issue that the Hanban is dealing with. It is an urgent question that how to improve the teaching skill of the Chinese teacher,especially the novice teacher.In this article,the research objet is novice Chinese teacher for foreigners in Xi’an International Studies University. Based on the teaching situation of the experienced Chinese teachers and combined with the education theory,analysis the classroom teaching behavior problems of the novice Chinese teachers for foreigners by using methods such as observing and interviewing. The corresponding strategies and suggestions for the problem solving are proposed,which are aimed to provide some references to the novice Chinese teachers for foreigners.
