A Study Of Chinese Sentences Based On Constructive Grammar And Its Application In Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language

In modern Chinese, provide-using sentence is a very special sentence. Provide-using sentence has some especial characteristics that are not in others’ sentences, for instance, verb weakening and replacement phenomenon. But now, the amount of provide-using sentence’s study is not many. In this article, we based on the construction grammar, analyzing provide-using sentence, defining it as Provide-using Construction. Analyzing the construction’s existence, semantics, proto-roles, fusing, argument role etc.Trying to explain the reason of replacement phenomenon and applying all of research results to the second language class.
