Research On Non - Traditional Security Cooperation In Mengzhong - India - Burma Economic Corridor

China’s concept of new security was put forward since the end of the century, which, on the one hand, is advancing continually, on the other hand, successfully guid ed the international practices of China and its neighboring countries on common securi ty and cooperation, especially reflects on maintaining regional security and non-traditio nal security. China, under the theoretical guidance of the new security concept particip ates in international security cooperation. Respecting the significance of "BCIM Econo mic Corridor Construction",and the tense situation of non-traditional security is confro nted with "BCIM Economic Corridor",to promote the security cooperation of "BCIM Economic Corridor" should have given the top priority, and ought to carry it into pra ctice under the guidance of China’s concept of new security.The non-traditional securit y cooperation of "BCIM Economic Corridor" is still far from implementation,however, which is inextricably bound to the tremendous difficulties before the security cooperati on.Only these potential problems settle, could the non-traditional security cooperation o f "BCIM Economic Corridor" run smoothly.Based on China’s concept of new security, this paper first analyses the relations among China’s concept of new security and regional security as well as the the non-tr aditional security cooperation, which concludes that the "BCIM Economic Corridor" i s faced with stern challenge in non-traditional security cooperation, it is imperative to carry forward the non-traditional security cooperation of the Intra-regional. Under the guidance of China’s concept of new security, detailed analysis of the necessity, the c urrent cooperation situation and the potential difficulties of the non-traditional security cooperation in "BCIM Economic Corridor" come to the second.In order to make active progresses in non-traditional security cooperation of "BCIM Economic Corridor", whi ch is essential to deal with the problems of "mutual trust,mutual benefit,equality and c onsultation".Only in this way, the "BCIM Economic Corridor Construction" could be carried out without a hitch, so does the Intra-countries’safety and stability.Finally,the paper concludes that through China’s new security concept its core con tentis is "mutual trust, mutual benefit, equality and cooperation,"as a ideology guiding,i t promotes economic corridors BCIM non-traditional security cooperation is feasible.
