In wireless sensor networks, How to use energy effectively to make it express its performance well and prolong its lifetime is becoming a research direction. The nodes around the Sink use up their energy much faster than other nodes, which forms the energy hole problem. How to avoid energy problem and to prolong network period is hot in wireless sensor networks. Nowadays, there is much research on energy hole problem, these are: energy control and power control, data compress and mixture strategy, node's non-uniform distribution, dynamic nature and increasing Sink's number, and cluster algorithm. In this thesis, two methods are proposed on energy hole problem:(1) Proportional node distribution to solve energy hole problem. According to the distance to the Sink and the simulation results on the energy consumption results in the uniform node distribution scheme, we quantitatively determine the nodes'distribution mode, and the energy-hole problem can be solved effectively.(2) Using Sink mobile mechanism to solve energy problem. We propose Sink mobility scheme to solve energy hole problem, that is pre-established mobile Sink and autonomous mobile Sink mechanism. Especially autonomous mobile Sink mechanism, using nodes'energy in communication rang and its own energy, we propose a mobile index. Compared to previous methods, the two mechanisms can solve energy problem better, attain nodes'energy balance and network lifetime is enhanced greater.
