Research And Implementation Of Mobile Widget Based On Android

With the large-scale use of Broadband Mobile Internet, a new round revolution of mobile application development technology is triggered. The mainstream technologies include Android, a mobile operating system, and the Mobile Widget development technology. For mobile terminals with the restricted computing and communication resources, Android provides an open application runtime and development environment, and the mobile widget application is a web application which adapts to this environment. It is important that the latter provides a mobile application development platform with more extensive user participation.This paper focuses on the mobile widget engine, explaining the basic principles of the mobile widget technology and analyzing the various components of the widget engine. the article analyses the several specifications from different organizations or companies, and compares the similarities and differences between them. Based on the research on Android, the paper proposes the implement solution of Widget API, and validates the feasibility of this solution, detailing how Java and JavaScript invoke each other and the data conversion problem between them. Finally, in terms of security, the paper shows the access control policy model based on the eXtensible Access Control Markup Language, detailing the working pattern of the model and components in the model.
