In recent years, the online network community has gained a great achievement and gives players a much richer experience. There are still some problems:not rich content, difficult to develop and with high risk. Therefore, this article is committed to providing a server system of Game 3.0 community, emphasis on freedom, opening and exchange. Players are allowed to build their own school and could enjoy the fun of creation. This paper relies on the project "School's Party".This article divides the server system into 3 subsystems:server kernel subsystem, login server subsystem and game server subsystem. Server engine is responsible for the underlying network communication. Login server and game server are built on the kernel. Loginserver is responsible for client authentication and server list maintance and gameserver is responsible for managing the entire virual community world. This paper mainly did the following work:(1) In the earlier time, this author had invesitigated the MMORPG system architechture and Adaptive Communication Enviroment to prepare for the server system development at techinal level.(2) In the design state, this author fully participate the module design of the three subsystems. Focus on the flexibility and scalability of system artichitechture.(3) This author implemented the scene management module in game server subsystem and provides support for the custom scenarios.(4) The NPC management module has also been impletemented. This article developed a NPC script system which could provide support for NPC AI.Finally, this article made a summary of the server system which suggesting the short coming and deficiencies and made a future prospect.
