The analog audio signal sent by traditional broadcast system relatively weak anti-interference ability.As the distance increases,the singal must be degraded and it's audio quality decreases too.What's more,it's construction and maintenance is more difficult.What the development of internet technolog and digital audio stream technology,transmission and processing of audio aignal change to digitized. Audio broadcast based on ethernet,which can achieve real-time on demand and multi-district broadcast,uses digital technology to transmit audio signals.It avoid the shortcomings of multi-line lying in traditional audio broadcast when it transmits multi-channel of multi-channel audio signals,it also have good reliability and stability,low distortion,easy installtion and wiring,etc.it has a broad development and application.This paper integrates digital audio and mature network technology,uses embedded system based on FPGA to interconnect ethernet and receive digital voice signal coming from the Ethernet.The system realizes network radio feature.The main work in this paper is as follows:First,this paper researchs processors based on PowerPC 405 and Xilinx FPGA chip technology,analyzes the function of network audio broadcasting aystem,uses EDK tool to complete PowerPC 405 embeded in Virter-II Pro,and then generates the embedded on-chip peripheral bus interface,the processor local bus interface,local memory,RS232 interfaces.IPIF bus in the system by building on the audio code interface IP core and development tools using EDK IP core resources available to add Ethernet interface IP core and finally connect all the components design of FPGA embedded system hardware platform.Then,this paper configs Xilkernel system,implements LwIP protocol stack,design and realize audio device and sudio data acquisition on the platform,and then completes programmings in Xilkernel operating system form task,the data structure and other aspects.Finally the system met the actual requirements and completed the intended targets through the actual hardware and software debug.
