Hall thruster has been successfully developed since 1970,has been widely used in aerospace,with the Hall thruster technology developing, the stability and life-span of the thruster have higher requirements. As the annular channel thruster ion beam radiation, leading to ion bombardment channel surface, the formation of sputter erosion, affecting the life-span and stability of thruster factors, the sputtering is most severe corrosion, corrosion caused by the surface morphology of sputtered directly determines the stability and life-span of thruster. mainly for the interface evolution caused by Hall thrusters sputtering of corrosion , do the relevant research.First compares advantages and disadvantages of the corrosion interface's several methods, final selection of the Level Set algorithm as a solution. Level set method is a new method to describe evolution of flame shape curve, developed by curve evolvement with curvature, It can be used to calculate and analyze the time-dependent, location, geometric properties of interfaces and external physical effect of the velocity field, the interface motion problem. In this paper, combined with essentially non-oscillatory differential scheme (ENO), weighted non-oscillatory differential scheme (WENO) and TVD Runge-Kutta scheme, a high resolution algorithm for Level Set equations is proposed and described, ensure the numerical accuracy of the results. In order to improve operational efficiency, fast marching method is used to do the initial work. The code in this dissertation is finished with the FORTRAN language, which achieve any of the known normal velocity curve tracing the evolution of the interface.The main work of this study focused on the application of the numerical solution of partial differential equations, and this algorithm is used to interface deformation of the corrosion process, some example also illustrates the stability of the algorithm, This part of the work methods combine with IFE, the formation of IFE-Level Set Algorithm, effectively deal with the moving boundary of the electromagnetic field.
