Along with the social information-based development, the DVD product becomes the typical model representative who the new generation numerical audio-visual technique and numerals turn the saving equipments of information. DVD has already become a kind of standard of sound and image products, and the DVD machine also wants and permits the VCD, CD etc. so the servo system in the player of DVD decides the whole function of DVD player directly. It is said to vehicle electronics product, because the request of special environment to servo system of the DVD work is higher.This paper introduced the design principle and the constitution of the DVD servo system at the beginning. For the sake of the DVD servo system requires high precision and rapid response, this paper built simulation model of DVD focus servo system first to test control algorithm before realization, and to compare different control schemes in design DVD servo system. To diminish the effect of the nonlinear factor of the machine construction of the disk system, this paper applied the new adaptive fuzzy-neuron control algorithm on the changing mathematical model to control the DVD focus servo system, compared that the traditional PID algorithm can only handle the precise mathematical model system. And simulation experiment shows that the algorithm is of good performance and strong robust.Then this paper completed the embedded system design based the adaptive fuzzy-neuron control algorithm and the M5705 servo chip, so did the application software of vehicle mounted DVD system. And the design of the application software of the vehicle mounted DVD focus servo system is emphatic discussed.
