Research And Realization On Process Migration Based WAN Heterogeneous Distributed Systems

Due to the low cost and high performance characteristic, cluster system is one of the hotspots for research. New techniques increasing the performance of the cluster system are proposed step by step during this course. New methods of the cluster load balance and process migration are the core techniques of the cluster system. But the net structure of the heterogeneous distributed systems has not been changed in recent years. According to this condition, a new net structure - wide-area network based heterogeneous distributed cluster systems is firstly proposed in this paper. The characteristic is that uniting seperate source by using wide area cluster. The connection quomodo is to adopt cluster and link. According as the inner structure of seperate ares, we adopt peer-to-peer to increace network agility and increace the control ability of crunode. Meaningly, every crunode adopts load balancing to implement realize process migration. Migration target can be in its own area, also can adopt wide area migration according to network condition and local area load condition. Load balance technique is used in single node to realize process migration. The migration object is not only in the local-area net but also in the wide-area net system. According to the information collected by the load balancers of each local-area net, the aim object of the process migration can be decided easily. Using this method the cost of the migration become lower and the performance become better.For the possible heterogeneous migration at the same time, we can use the middleware interception technology of CORBA to realize.
