The second one is during his time with People's Daily that was determined to reform and brought about a new situation with Deng Tuo playing the leading role. The third one is during his time with the magazine Front Line. He wielded his pen to record the truth and safeguarded the Marxism truth, showing his lofty aspirations regardless of threat to life.Deng Tuo's thought of journalism may be summarized as five main contents: First, going deep into the practice and taking reality as report criterion, Deng Tuo thought the newsroom's work should put emphasis on the outside of the newspaper office, but not the inside of that. The editor, reporter, correspondent and all the leading cadre had to take action to go deep into the fact to investigate affair systematically, and dare to reflect the problem realistically by Comrade Mao Zedong's thought.
