The Research And Implemention Of Key Technologies Of VOD System

Internet is developing from a stage that the static datum content (text and vision) playing an leading position into an comprehensive information resources library that includes static media's content and continuous media's content. Along with the promotion of network bandwidth and performance ability of computer, streaming media technology is becoming the focal point of public.According to the above, the key technology include Qos (transmit-speed control technology) and flow media dispatch technology have been researched in the thesis.Secondly,There has carried on research to protocols such as RTP (Real-Time Transfer Protocol),RTCP(Real-Time Transfer Control Protocol) and RTSP(Real-Time Stream Protocol) .The format and functions were detailed and researched.At last, it was describe that RY-VOD media server system was designed. The content of implemention and application to the protocol above run through the system. The part introduced the software architecture and processes, to adjust sending ratio, The system introduced based on back information of RTCP. It is original that the system can be compiled for UNIX and Windows. This code make use of standard c/c++ language and libraries that can be run Unix and Windows OS,no using mainstream tools,SDK that based on Media Server,Real Server, QuickTime.
