Research And Design Of Transmission And Real-time Response System For Online Exam Monitor Images

Online Examination System is used more and more widely. However, controling and preventing the examinee cheating in examinations is still by manual primarily.Do like that wastes lots of resource and influences the fairness of test.To provides a high efficiency solution for on-line test monitoring, we design a monitor system using simple technology in image processing and PC-camera which is low costed.In the process of monitoring, how to transmit kinds of the data and messages between server and clients and how to give real-time response is the main point.In this system, data and images for monitor are collected in examinee's browser which hold ActiveX controls in jsp.Otherwise, the services process is written in java.So we focuse on that how to transmit data between java system and C++ system.The paper analyzes the key technology such as Socket communications technology, SOAP protocol and XML technology first. Then, design the project for communication and transmission between server and clients including the format of SOAP message and Socket message, also introduce correlative implement.Finally, the paper gives the results of data quantity test in the laboratory. The results show that the system is feasible and effective, and is the necessary auxiliary system with bright prospect of online examination system.
