Aiming at the requirements of building low resolution models to study high level simulation problems such as exploratory analysis, decision support and high level reasoning, this thesis proposes a modeling framework of motivated metamodel, and studies the key issue of the modeling framework—structure design of motivated metamodel. Metamodels built under this framework can meet the requirements of high level simulation and support high level simulation soundly. The major work of this thesis can be concluded as following three aspects:1) Modeling framework and application framework of motivated metamodelThis thesis concludes the simulation metamodel theory and existing motivated metamodeling theory, and then proposes a modeling framework of motivated metamodel, which includes confirming the relationship between metamodel and simulation system, metamodel building, metamodel evaluation. And study the application framework in the high level simulation.2) Structure design of motivated metamodelThis thesis analyzes the structure design process in detail: First, distill motivated knowledge from phenomenology by using cause-effect reasoning and data analysis. Then, simplify the object model on the base of motivated knowledge. Moreover, this thesis studies the two key technologies—cause-effect reasoning and data analysis.3) The building and application of motivated metamodel in the missile attack defenseFirstly, this thesis analyzes the EPSS simulation system in depth and proposes the motivated metamodeling requirements and modeling objective. Then, design the metamodel structure and building the GBI intercept process metamodel. Lastly, use the metamodel to study the process of GBI interception.
