Research In Build And Management Standard E-Learning Resource

In recent years, great progress has made in China's e-learning area. A large number of e-learning service systems were settled through the country. However, the standard and sharing level of learning resources has lagged behind the developing of e-learning education. There are a series of e-learning standards and specifications, which are all about how to standardization learning resources. Though, it is quite hard to practice them in building learning resources, such as courseware.A learning resources model is introduced in this paper, which is fully conform the LOM and CP standards and against the application fact. The model aimed at resolving the problem of standardization of learning resources. It is easy in use, so that it can be smoothly applied into existing e-learning system. Further more, this theoretical model is extended into an application model, which is about how to build standard e-learning courseware. The e-learning courseware, which conforms to the application model, has highly standardized content and various representations.In order to using these models in building courseware, a standard e-learning courseware builder is introduced. Producers can efficiently build standard e-learning courseware using this builder. Those resource elements in the courseware resources can be found and referenced by the other producers, which makes the share ability of resources reached to a new level. Meanwhile, the builder can also package the non-standard courseware in standard way. A standard resource management system mentioned at last is a prototype system. It introduces a strategy which can effectively centralized storage the standard resources. It also provides content and asset sharing services to fit the different needs of various users, which greatly increasing the utilization rate of resources.
