Study On Security Of College Archive Information Management System

College archive refers to the documental materials of characters, charts, audio and video and other different formats, which come into being during teaching, researching and managing in the college. College archives can truly reflect the college activities and record the history of it. With high use of the college archives, traditional way of looking up the documents can not satisfy the current demand for information in the society, for being limited timely and regionally and being low-efficient. Therefore, to establish the digital archives is imperative. There are many in archival material taking form in colleges , as far as content be concerned , the party , administration , teaching , scientific research , capital construction , equipment, publish , ten such as foreign affairs , finance and accounting is similar to an eye according to having Party mainly "institution of college archive entity classification ". The past few years with the development of society, a lot of colleges increases characteristic archives such as having set up the celebrity archive, having checked the history file in the whole nation. The colleges archive is reflecting various activities such as institution of higher learning impart knowledge and educate people , new idea in science and technology , social practice truly , the history being recording school's all-round , systematic , objective, has extremely strong real guiding significance, may produce long active effect to future together. College archive utilization ratio is very high , the tradition file is looked up way, availability is low, and accept time region restricting, have no way to satisfy the society need to file information , build the colleges digital archives establishment therefore, being imperative. Digital Archives is a new-style archive occurring along with the internet, data tech and multi-media development, it is based on digital tech, transferring characters, voice, and image into digital formats and storing them. Archive information management system is the core for the digital archives. The system security is especially important in internet circumstance due to the importance of the archive information. The archive information management system based on B/S pattern is digital management system, the data-base is for storing and managing all the information. This paper introduces the basis theory of college archive, B/S pattern and security of the data-base, and then it takes the archive system, Southwest University Star, as an example, it analyzes the college archive management system based on B/S pattern and the security problem in the system, and proposes a scenario to strengthen the security based on SQL Server security management system, with user authentication, digital signature, access control, data base encrypting and other tech. This scenario improves the shortage in most of the current security systems and develops the safety and efficiency, in order to develop the archive work information-based and networking.
