Precise dynamic measurement to Transmission error(TE) of gear and driving chain, , and accurate analysis to causes of TE, as a result gave necessary guiding basis to assembling high precision spare parts, selection and fixtures. The objective and right evaluation to TE is so important to National production and defense construction.In the thesis, introduces the basic principle and the method of TE measurement, and then introduces the different sensor in TE measurement, and illustrates the tendencies of IE measurement technology which is from analog value to digital value, from phase-comparision to impulse-count, from single-function instrument to multi-function system. After all, the development of IE measurement technology is related with the level of computer technology participation and application of CAD technology.The project"The design and simulated experiment for detecting system of Transmission Error based on FPGA"is to update the FMT system. The design of detecting system of Transmission Error, currently, is provided new technology by FPGA. This dissertation introduces one method of using the counting pulse to develop TE measuring system and new method of using the high frequency clock signal to divide the space pulse, and bring out a new design proposal at the core of FPGA base on that mathematical model. One FPGA chip gets used to design processing circuit to process initial signal which is projected by sensor. The chip is embedded many modules such as sub-dividing module of pulse signal, controllable frequency demultiplier, controllable counter, etc. The important signal of IE is extracted after configed chip by MCU. The acquired-data is uploaded to PC software by USB2.0. The USB communication module will obtain the status of acquisition module when it receives the command from PC, then data in FIFO(first in first out) module will be detected automatically, and the transimitted data is processed to be a IE curve by PC software. Finally complete two experiments: the simulating experiment and the transmission precision links experiment worm gear pair. The experiment data and IE curve shows the validation of the whole design.
