Optoelectronic coupled devices (OCDs) are easily destroyed devices in the space radiation environment, which causes OCDs poor reliability, short life, or completely failure. As an important parts of the spaceflight electronic systems, OCDs radiation tolerance is a key researching technique. Based on the summary of the radiation damage mechanisms in OCDs, the CTR model and 1/f noise model have been established. Tthe noise-sensitive parameter is optimized by the irradiation experimentation. The noise nondestructive evaluation technique for radiation tolerance in OCDs has been established, and its use has been explored. In this paper, the major work done and the main conclusions, including,1. Based on summarizing the mechanisms of ionizing radiation damage in OCDs, research the correlation between damage and electrical parameters or noise parameters. The CTR model and 1/f noise model have been established separately.2. By designing and accomplishing radiation experimentation, the correctness of the two models is verified. The noise amplitude B is optimized as noise sensitive evaluation parameters.3. As OCDs radiation damage mechanisms are similar to the pn junction. The noise nondestructive evaluation technique for radiation tolerance in OCDs is proposed as that in pn junction materials, including evaluation models, parameter extraction methods, evaluation criterias and evaluation procedures.4. Noise nondestructive evaluation techniques can be applied in screening diodes and OCDs. Screening programs can be carried out by combining nondestructive evaluation techniques and screening indicators.
