Design And Implementation Of Web-Based Learning Resource Management System

With the r apid developm ent of com puter technology,com puter network technology,multimedia technolog y,especial the popularity of In ternet, the Web-based learning are b eeing developed rapidly. Web-Based I nstruction integrated many advantages of teaching m ode, and has been to be the m ost active and most promising-led mode among the new teaching mode at the new century. In E-leanring, the core problem is le arning resources, so the management of learning resources is the most imporment and the core content.At present,many universities and colleges have been developping their teaching resources m anagement system, with the developm ent of E-learning and management of learning resources, m any problem s occurred inevitably, which includes: F irst, it's lac k of ef fective m onitoring and m anagement in e-learning process, and exist the question of security and not easy to use;Second, a large number of e-learning resource management system have been put into use,but the utilization rate is not high, c an not achieve the share really, duplicate construction between schools is a serious problem. At present, most of the Web-Based Instruction platf orm is to support curriculum-based teaching-oriented teaching mode, the interactive is poor.According to the state of research and application in m anagement of learning resources, and the problem s occurred in application of E-lear ning, I m ade a dee p analysis in the requirement of management of learning resources, the environment of web-based learning, teaching pattern, lear ning resources mangem ent, development of e-learning platforms and many other related topics have been analyzed too. As the result of the research, a learning resource m anagement oriented E-learning system has been proposed and developed in ASP technology, which has been running in our school.In this paper, my main works inlcudes the following:(1) In the basis of learning theories, a method of knowledge expression and the store m ethod of learning resources has been proposed, a logic m apping relationships between web pages be constucted, so to support the dynamic reviewing and aggregation of learning resources in e-leaning.(2) Proposed an archiecture of learning resources m anagement system, which divide the management of learning resources into two levels:the physical storage of learning resources and the registration and management of learning resources, which can assure the flexibility and scalability of E-learning system.(3) Designed and developped a learning resources m anagement oriented e-learning system in ASP and SQL Server, which has the function of authoring and releasing of network curriculum. The sy stem has been used in Shadong W ater Polytechnic and get a good result in application.
