Entering the 21st century, mechanical and electrical instrumentations combin with embedded systems,generating the embedded electromechanical instrumentations. The rapid development of embedded electromechanical instrumentations make the instruments compact, with full-featured technology, great capacity and further enhanced reliability. Software is the key to the Implementation of embedded electromechanical instrumentation functions, but the software development can not be perfect, there will be some bugs; users maybe find a variety of software problems, and propose some new functional requirements,all of these require the embedded software upgrade. The software upgrade of embedded electromechanical instrumentation, not only provides users with more sophisticated features to ensure users'data safe, but also improves the comprehensive competitiveness of embedded products and increases market share. This paper studies a on-site upgrade technology of the embedded electromechanical instrumentation.First, the paper introduces the classification of upgrade technologys and their own features, combines with research status of embedded electromechanical instrumentations, then expatiates upon the research status of software upgrade technologies of the embedded electromechanical instrumentations and analyses these technologies'advantages and disadvantages.Then, the paper focuses on overall design of the on-site upgrade technology of the embedded electromechanical instrumentation,studies several aspects of needs analysis, design principles, hardware and software framework, playing a guiding role for the following from the overall design.The paper processes detailed theoretical analysis on the key agreement during the on-site upgrade, making the next step basis for the code implementation. At the same time, for software reliability problems, the paper puts forward specific measures to achieve fault-avoidance and fault-tolerant design, ensuring high reliability.Finally, the article gives the specific implementation of the on-site upgrade technology of the embedded electromechanical instrumentation, including building the software development environment and development process, giving specific implementation process and source code analysis of the core software modules, thus achieves the software design of the on-site upgrade technology. The on-site upgrade technology proves itself with simple, quick, high reliability characters, by the application of embedded products and the corresponding test. This technology can be widely used in software upgrade of the embedded electromechanical instrumentation with good application value.
