The present thesis mainly deals with the molecular phylogeney of Issidae from China, Issidae is a big family of the Fulgoroidea and consists more than 280 genera and 1200 species worldwide, some species are pests and reach high densities on a variety of economically important plants, and they are harmful to plants by sucking and spawning. Therefore, the study on taxonomy of Issidae has important significance in the study of evolution of species and pest management. This study is based on the dissertation of Che (2006) and 19 genera and 24 species were used in molecular phylogentic study. Mitochondrial gene fragments of Cytb and COI of this 24 species were sequenced. The result indicate that the length of the aligned Cytb gene sequences is 421bp with 185 conserved sites, 229 varible sites and 192 parsimony sites. The base composition of the fragment is: T 34.4%,C 19.3% ,A 35.7%,G 10.6%; the aligned COI gene sequences is 611bp with 247 conserved sites, 358 varible sites and 263 parsimony sites. The base composition of the fragment is: T 33.1%,C 19.% ,A 33.9%,G 14%.The study of genetic distance shows: (1) Cytb gene: the smallest genetic distance between outgroup and ingroup is 0.227, and the biggest is 0.302; the smallest genetic distance between ingroups is 0.002, and the biggest is 0.359. (2) COI gene: the smallest genetic distance between outgroup and ingroup is 0.198, and the biggest is 0.595; the smallest genetic distance between ingroups is 0.002, and the biggest is 0.653.Based on the sequencing and analysis, using Lycorma delicatula as outgroups, we constructed molecular phylogenetic trees of Issidae from China with Neighbor-Joining (NJ), Maximum Pasimony (MP), Maximum likelihood (ML) and Bayesian inference (BI) methods. The phylogenetic relationships of Issidae from China has been discussed. The molecular phylogenetic trees showes:(1) Issidae is a paraphyly group; only subfamily Caliscelinae is separated from Issidae, it can be a monophyly, the molecular data support to promote Caliscelinae to a family level: Caliscelidae;(2) Eusudasina belongs to Hemisphaeriinae;(3) Jagannata uncinulata is transferred to Eusarima from Jagannata; (4) The transfer of Flavina variata to Parahiraciini is supported;(5) Thioniini should be retained, and Gelastyrella is transferred from Issini to Thioniini;...
