Reservoirs with their oil column thinner than 10 meters are generally defined as the low-amplitude structure oil reservoirs, which include both reservoirs buried within the low-amplitude structures and the ones locate in relativity higher structures with their oil columns still less than 10 meters. Reservoir within the low-amplitude structures is the main form of the low-amplitude structure oil reservoir.Within the study area, reservoir is mainly controlled by the dual factors of structure and lithology. Low-amplitude structure and thin reservoir bed make the resolution of seismic data very low. Therefore, to solve these two difficult problems, the research work started based on the 3D seismic data which has been processed and interpreted.The average velocity structure maps of upper and lower part of the main target layer U was made by using velocity- varying mapping. This made direct description to the low- amplitude structures of the study area. Constraint sparse spike inversion and the highly accurate post-stack geo-statistics inversion were then carried out focus mainly on layer U and the distribution of reservoir with the study area was identified. Frequency-attenuation attribute was also used to predict the distribution of the fluid. And finally, all the results above were combined to make comprehensive analysis and the reservoir prediction to this low-amplitude structure was thought to be done. By analyzing well data, we can draw this conclusion that result of this reservoir predicting method basically matches the result from wells-drilling and also the local geological condition.In this dissertation, research started based on the interpreted 3D seismic data. Velocity- varying mapping, post-stack inversion and fluid predicting were combined as a reservoir predicting method focus on the study area which has the predicting difficulties of low structure amplitude and large horizontal variation. At the aspect of oil production, this method makes direction to the next step well drilling and also at the aspect of low-amplitude structural study, it offers some reservoir predicting suggestion of this kind.
