The Design And Realization Of Information Management System Of Bayan Nur Geopark Based On Component GIS

As China’s vigorous development of geoparks since the new millennium, geological tourism industry based on the Geological heritage landscapes is rising rapidly. However, the management of geoparks has not been balancedly developed. The problem most geoparks have to face is that the management is out of date and difficult, the means of management is single, and the cost is high. To achieve a comprehensive, scientific and harmonious development, applying new technologies, new means and new methods to effectively solve the contradiction is an urgent need to settle the problem.After a full investigation and analysis of the actual needs of Bayan Nur geopark administrative department, by way of consulting the correlative information, reference to the construction skills and experience of domestic information management system, according to the particularity of tourist resources of Bayan Nur geopark, we developed information management system of geopark. The system which uses C/S structure, bases on RDBMS and SuperMap Objects as a development platform, chooses C# as a development language finally achieved the effective integration of geopark business management and GIS. And it provides a new means of management for geopark.The system which sets the collection, storage, analysis, management and output of basic information of geopark in one body basically involves all kinds of daily business management of geopark, and realizes scientific, modern and informative management. Thus it not only raises the scientific connotation and scientific level but also rapidly promotes protection, construction and management levels of our national geoparks.This paper is accomplished on the basis of the System. It firstly analyzes the necessity and significance of constructing the system, briefly introduces technical support and development environment of the system, combining informative construction situation at home and abroad. Then it focuses on systems analysis, system design, system testing and system-wide implementation of the process, described emphatically the design ideas and realization method of the key technology and difficult problems during the system development. Finally the paper summarizes the achievements and understanding, and gives some advices about some existing problems and deficiencies.
