In this paper, the stability of solutions to some singular systems are studied by the Lyapunovfunctions and comparison principle. The paper is composed of five chapters. In Chapter1, the subject of significance and research situation of the singular systems areintroduced as well as the main work of the paper. In Chapter2, we introduce the definitions of practical stabilities of singular systems withinitial time difference. By utilizing the comparison principle and the Lyapunov function method,we study the practical stability of singular systems with initial time difference and get somestability criteria finally. In Chapter3, we present the definitions of practical stability in terms of two measures fornonlinear singular systems with time-delay then by using the Lyapunov stability theory anddifferential inequality, we get some stability criteria finally about it.In Chapter4, we present the definitions of practical stability for singular systems with max-ima. By utilizing the comparison principle and the Lyapunov function method with Razumikinskills, we study the practical stability of singular systems and get some stability criteria finallyabout it.In Chapter5, a brief summary of this thesis and some advices about analysis for the theoryof singular systems are advanced.
