In the wave of global navigation and positioning technology to promote the rapidprogress of China’s satellite navigation system is in full swing in the building. Toimprove the navigation and positioning accuracy, it is necessary that to reduce or toeliminate various kinds of errors in the navigation and positioning. Navigation signalpropagation path ionospheric delay is one of the major sources of error, its correctionis good or bad has an important impact on navigation and positioning accuracy. In thisthesis, under the conditions of the Chinese region of sparse distribution stations,achieve a higher accuracy ionospheric delay error correction methods.This paper first ionospheric research background and significance, statusionospheric research, and the need for ionospheric studies are described, and thenstudy the ionosphere and the current main principles ionospheric delay errorcorrection method, studies comparing the classical ionization layer delay correctionmethod to correct the effect of the cloth in the Chinese region of sparse stationconditions, changes in the characteristics of the ionosphere are analyzed within Chinaregion.This paper uses data from IGS ionosphere released. Klobuchar were delayed usegrid ionospheric model and Matlab simulation model for the Chinese region of theionosphere, and then post the results with the IGS precision products to compare thesetwo models is evident not suitable for China’s regional ionospheric delay correctionwhich Klobuchar model ionospheric delay correction accuracy is mainly the gridionospheric model under conditions of sparse cloth station ionospheric delaycorrection effect is not ideal. Therefore, proposed the use of distance interpolationmethod ionospheric delay corrections China region, and a lot of simulation.Through the above relate to ionospheric delay correction method study shows thesuperiority of using a certain distance interpolation method in the China region.Compared with Klobuchar model, this method can better correct the ionospheric delay,compared with grid ionospheric model, which divides the ionosphere withoutreference surface into a large number of grid cells, reduces the computationalcomplexity and the base station construction costs, with only eight reference stationswithin China region ionospheric delay zenith weighted data, reducing the load on thenavigation message. The use of this method results ionospheric delay error correction shows that for a relatively high latitudes of the northern region, the method correctionaccuracy can reach90%; For relatively low latitude regions in southern China, themethod can achieve higher correction precision, reaching more than85percent, thestudy has important reference value to the wide area ionospheric delay correctionerror.
