Studies On Periphyte Community On Artificial Substrates In Three Typical Waters Of Baiyangdian Lake

According to the hydrological characteristics and utilization, Baiyangdian lake can bedivided into three parts: village area, clean water area and aquiculture area. In this paper thephysic-chemical factors, chemical factor, phytoplankton and periphyte in the three typicalwaters of Baiyangdian Lake were investigated, their relationships between the perophytecommunity and phytoplankton community in spatial and temporal scale were analyzed. Themain results were as follows.1Eight phylums of periphyte were identified in clean water area, belonged toBacillariophyta,76.72%; Cyanophyta,21.60%; Chlorophyta,1.14%; Xanthophyta,0.16%;Pyrrophyta,0.21%; Cryptophyta,0.03%; Chrysophyta,0.12%and Euglenophyta,0.04%.Seven phylums of periphyte were identified in aquaculture area, belonged to Bacillariophyta,46.16%; Cyanophyta,40.07%; Chlorophyta,9.38%; Pyrrophyta,0.27%; Chrysophyta,0.74%;Euglenophyta,1.48%and Xanthophyta,1.14%. Seven phylums of periphyte were alsoidentified in the village area, belonged to Bacillariophyta,75.72%; Cyanophyta,17.96%;Chlorophyta,5.93%; Pyrrophyta,0.04%; Chrysophyta,0.21%; Xanthophyta,0.10%; andEuglenophyta,0.04%.2Six phylums of phytoplankton were identified in clean water area, belonged toCyanophyta,27.85%; Bacillariophyta,40.21%; Chlorophyta,27.95%; Cryptophyta,3.02%;Euglenophyta,0.39%; Chrysophyta,0.58%. Six phylums of phytoplankton were identified inaquaculture area, belonged to Cyanophyta,57.26%; Bacillariophyta,12.86%; Chlorophyta,28.41%; Euglenophyta,0.70%; Chrysophyta,0.04%and Cryptophyta,0.74%. Six phylums ofphytoplankton were also identified in village area, belonged to Cyanophyta,70.93%;Bacillariophyta,2.21%; Chlorophyta,25.81%; Euglenophyta,0.31%; Chrysophyta,0.03andCryptophyta,0.72%.3The density of periphyton and phytoplankton in clean water area was greater thanaquaculture area, but the dry weight of the appendiculate was: clean water area <aquaculturearea <village area. 4Throughout the year, except June, the number of species of periphyton in clean waterarea was bigger than village area and aquaculture area.5There was a close correlation between periphyton communities and phytoplanktoncommunities.
