Seismic wave impedance inversion is effective way to understand the impedancecharacteristics and underground rock stratum and analysis of reservoir using seismic data. Soit is an important technical way from conventional structure exploration to the stratigraphiclithology exploration.But in the current situation of engineering seismic exploration, weneed a comprehensive analysis and study of the difference between the real data withparticularity and complex ity and the theory premise of wave impedance inversion method,also of the fine degree of current commercial software and the effectiveness of its application.In the thesis, principles and basic concepts of wave impedance inversion aresystematically reviewed. Based on the analysis of wave impedance inversion and itsengineering application status, combining with the characteristics of the seismic data of thecoalfield, the author systematically analyzed and gave the corresponding knowledge andconclusions on the problem of constrained sparse spike inversion method and softwaretechnology applications and the main technical deficiencies application during coalexploration in the western region.In regard to the coal seam thickness variation, lateral variation of coal quality and othercoalfield geological conditions, by building corresponding geological model and seismicrecord forward numerical simulating, applying Jason inversion software to process andanalyze, the author systematically carried out test and analysis on the problems, such asinversion parameter selection and the key technology of software application, some pitfallsmay existed or have occurred in data processing and so on. And the numerical simulating andtesting results could guide the processing and interpretation of wave impedance inversion ofcoalfield seismic data.Based on the hole acoustic logging and density logging data of XHD field in shaanxiyulin-hengshan mining area, the article analysis physical parameters characteristics anddistribution rule of Coal density、acoustic velocity、coal roof and floor reflection coefficientof2#、3#coal seam. The above cognition provides informative coal property data basis forsubsequent seismic exploration、 its processing of wave impedance inversion andinterpretation in the region and its adjacent area, and close to the coal area.
