Xiangshan area of Ningxia Zhongwei City is an important metal mineral and nonmetaldistribution area in Ningxia province, but because of the special tectonic location andcomplex geological background, although in this area it has been developed a lot of Geologyand Geophysics work, after decades of work, there is no big breakthrough, it still in theprimary stage of prospecting, distribution of subsurface geological body and rock mass. Thisarticle through the collection of large scale magnetic data in a certain Xiangshan area ofNingxia Zhongwei city, by processing the correlation method, analyses the distribution ofunderground rock and geological body, and provide guidance for further ore prospecting.In this paper, the magnetic anomaly data bases on the Ningxia Zhongwei Xiangshan HillArea, bases on the local regional geological and petrophysical data, uses the causes of theformation of the magnetic anomaly, uses first vertical derivative method,NVDR_THDRmethod and men-computer interactive inversion technology in the gravitational and magneticinterpretation methods have been explored a set of method to delineate the magmatic rock, atthe same time, applies of this method to the study area.. The paper has explore achieved someResults and conclusion:(1) Using the collected magnetic anomaly data from the study area, do some relatedtreatment work, acquirs the magnetic anomaly map of study area and some analysis,meanwhile, finds the cause of magnetic anomaly generated: magnetic anomaly is caused bythe diabase rock mass without the occurrence of wall rock alteration, When the alterationoccurres, magnetism becomes weak, it almost cannot cause magnetic anolomy.(2) When finished the work of the first vertical derivative processing and theNVDR_THDR processing, combining with two kinds of processing technology of conclusion,planed the distribution of diabase rock mass delineation of the study area, and then exposeddiabase rock mass, analysed and predicted of the wall rock alteration zone, and revise the rockmass plane according to the alteration zone of diabase, finally got the plane distribution rangeof diabase rock mass in the whole research area. (3) Using RGIS2010processing software finished the2.5D human-computerinteractive inversion works and3D visualization inversion works, Clearly represent thedistribution of diabase rock of the study area space: Using different magnetic models2.5Dhuman-computer interactive inversion, Through the comparison of different models,Performes of the section morphology of rock mass. Through the comparison of3Dvisualization inversion results with2.5D human-computer interactive inversion results, find itclearly that the3D human-computer interactive inversion’s drawing clearer, its detail sharper,its content richer, its result closer to the real geological body.(4) Using distribution analysis of diabase rock mass, ultimately point out thedistrbution ofthe region’s diabase rock bodies. Large scale diabase body is relatively large, large area islocated in the study area near the center position of the magnetic anomaly, a piece of diabaserock, diabase is exposed by rock upwelling into strata, more clearly reflect accurately theshape of diabase rock mass of underground, the result also proves that the methods isapplicable to the research, besides the paper gives out the wall rock alteration zone in the area,provide the base of the future geological work.
