The formation flying InSAR satellites mapping mission arising from thecombination of earth observation requirement and satellite formation technology is anew generation satellite application of Earth observation missions. Since the technicalcomplexity of formation flying InSAR system, the mapping mission put forwardhigher requirements for mission scheduling method. So it is necessary to do someresearch to the mission scheduling problem of the mapping mission. The workingpattern and working process of formation flying InSAR mission define some newconstraints that are different from other Earth observation missions. With analyzing thespace borne InSAR mapping technology principle and some related work patterns, itgives the constraints which must be considered in the formation flying InSAR missionscheduling problem. On basis of some reasonable assumptions and the consideration ofthese constraints, it establishes the solving process of formation flying InSAR mappingmission scheduling problem.Since the effective intervention baseline in the formation flying InSAR system isin relation to the relative position of the intervention satellites in the system with thecondition of J2perturbation, it uses the relative orbit model of mean orbit elements toanalyze the baseline constraint in the InSAR system. Using the geometrycharacteristics of sensor coverage, it calculates the geography information of coverage.With a summary of the existing area target decomposition method, using the constraintsatisfied polygon cutting algorithm and the method of determine whether point isinside or outside the area, it calculates the segmented trip information which includethe all observation moment information. With the trips, it defines the ’available tripattribute set’, and gives the method to modify the trip attribute information with theconstraints and uses this method to modify time window attribute information of thetrip which has an error in the time window attribute. It uses grid statistic method tohandle the areas which are needed to be observation and establish the profit calculationfunction which is used to be assessing the coverage result. It make the task’s start timeand stop time to be the decision variables and establishes the constraint satisfactionmodel of the formation flying InSAR mission scheduling problem based on simplify the complex constraints.According the real constraints in the mission, it provides the overall optimalsolution framework which is based on the hybrid genetic simulated annealingalgorithm aim at the constraint satisfaction model of the scheduling problem. It designsthe chromosome’s encoding scheme which is based on the task timeline and thisencoding scheme could make the chromosome satisfied the requirements of theadjusted process according to the constraints. Putting the task availability constraintand task exclusiveness constraint into the design process of the genetic action anddesigning the chromosome modify strategy which will be effective when thechromosome check result indicates that the chromosome do not satisfy the energyconstraint could guarantee the validity of the chromosome. Then, it gives the annealingarguments and its’ adjust strategy and terminal condition of the algorithm. At last itgives the Simulation example which verified the model and the algorithm.
